Joe update

We’ve had our ramblings together since he last appeared on this blog and we’ve also enjoyed indoor activities together. It’s clear that Joe prefers the former but when there’s a thunderstorm raging outside, even he recognises that perhaps lying on the carpet, on his back with his body twisted, is the sensible thing to do until it rumbles on elsewhere.

It’s alright for him, he’s got four-pad drive to deal with the resulting mud, us dog walkers risk life and limb to accompany him – bless.

I do think he’s still somewhat bemused by the disappearance of his lord and master, a feeling shared by many.

Sometimes it's just one of those days

Despite a lousy summer and life’s ups and downs, he’s remains a very fit dog that’s always up for a walk and can still wag his tail at the speed of sound.

Coming next:
Woodpecker Rally - most definately not a drunken collection of birds
